Distance Sales Contract
Mesafeli Satış Sözleşmesi governing the sale of MedTalks digital services.
This Distance Sales Contract (the "Contract") is concluded electronically between the Seller and the Buyer identified below, in accordance with Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the Regulation on Distance Contracts of the Republic of Türkiye.

Buyer
The natural or legal person who purchases digital services from MedTalks through the website or checkout flow and whose identity, contact and billing details are recorded at the time of purchase.
1. Subject
This Contract governs the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the sale and delivery of digital services by the Seller to the Buyer, including but not limited to:
- Online courses and training programs;
- AI-powered speaking agents and related tools;
- Subscriptions providing access to the MedTalks platform and content.
The qualities, quantity and price of the services subject to this Contract are as displayed on the checkout page at the time of purchase and confirmed by the order confirmation.
2. Service Delivery
Delivery is deemed complete when any of the following occurs:
- Account access is granted or login credentials are issued to the Buyer;
- Course materials, live session links or AI tools become available in the Buyer's account;
- Digital content is made available for download or streaming.
3. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from this Contract within 14 (fourteen) days without giving any reason, subject to the exceptions set out in the Distance Contracts Regulation.
Digital content exception: Where the Buyer has expressly consented to immediate performance of the service and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal will be lost once performance has begun, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the service has started (e.g. after the account has been activated and accessed).
4. Buyer's Obligations
- To provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information during registration and checkout;
- To keep login credentials confidential and not share the account with third parties;
- Not to copy, resell, sublicense, or distribute MedTalks content, AI outputs, or materials without written permission;
- To use the services in accordance with applicable law and the MedTalks Terms of Service.
5. Seller's Obligations
- To deliver the services in conformity with the description on the product page;
- To maintain reasonable platform availability and uptime under normal operating conditions;
- To protect the Buyer's personal data in line with the Privacy Policy, KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR.
6. Payment
- Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
- The Seller does not store full payment card details on its own servers.
- Any chargebacks, reversals or fraudulent transactions may lead to suspension of the Buyer's account.
7. AI Disclaimer
Outputs generated by MedTalks AI agents (including Dr. Meddy, Mr. Brown, OET Speaking Agents and similar) are provided for educational and language-training purposes only. They do not constitute medical, clinical, diagnostic, legal or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such.
8. Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Internet or telecommunications failures;
- Acts or decisions of governmental or regulatory authorities;
- Outages of hosting, payment or third-party platforms;
- Natural disasters, epidemics, strikes or other external infrastructure issues.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Contract is subject to:
- Turkish Consumer Protection Law and related legislation;
- Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) within the applicable monetary thresholds;
- Consumer Courts of Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, for disputes exceeding such thresholds.
10. Governing Law
This Contract is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
11. Acceptance
By completing payment and ticking the relevant acceptance boxes at checkout, the Buyer confirms that they have read and accepted this Distance Sales Contract and the accompanying Pre-Information Form, and — where immediate access to digital services is requested — expressly waives the right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by law.
